Salvus scores at Melbourne and Olympic Parks

The Melbourne and Olympic Parks Trust has selected ComOps' Salvus safety, risk and claims management software.
MOPT selected Salvus for its functionality, ease of use, completeness, and analytics capability. "We wanted an enterprise-wise solution with a web interface which could segregate users, enabling some staff to simply report incidents while providing others with features to generate analytics for better business planning," said says MOPT IT manager Kay Stock.
"Not all our users require full functionality. For example, our casual contractors only need to report and log incidents. Only Salvus was able to provide this level of acute flexibility in one comprehensive package while supporting our requirement to report on incidents and claims, and ultimately escalate matters in real time," she said.
Another attraction of Salvus was that its licence structure allows for fluctuations in the number of employees. The MOPT has 120 full-time employees, but as many as 2000 casuals are hired for the Australian Open tennis tournament held in January.
