CNN International has appointed digital advertising group AD2ONE as its media sales partner to focus on its online properties and its mobile products in Australia and New Zealand.
CNN says it is the first time it has brought on a digital specialist in the region. "AD2ONE will drive awareness for advertising opportunities to CNN.com, CNN Money and CNNGo and its suite of mobile entities including the CNN Mobile website, the iPhone, iPad, Android and Nokia smartphone apps specifically in the Australian and New Zealand market," CNN said.
It added: "The appointment comes as the CNN Digital Network goes from strength to strength with recent launches of Sydney and Seoul on CNNGo.com and apps for the Nokia smartphone and Android phone."
CNNGo is an entertainment / dining / travel info portal launched in September 2009 as a homepage connecting independent websites for six cities - Bangkok, Hong Kong, Mumbai, Shanghai, Singapore and Tokyo; and now Sydney and Seoul also.
