Ad2ONE to be exclusive seller of Optus MyZoo ad space

Optus has appointed online ad sales organisation Ad2ONE as the exclusive seller of advertising space on its MyZoo mobile web portal, with a claimed 140 million ad impressions per month.

AD2ONE said the additional inventory would double what it can offer advertisers wanting space on Australian web sites. Sites it presently sells ads for in Australia include HotCopper, Reuters, AOL, Best Restaurants, WWE, LinkedIN (NZ), Expedia and Lonely Planet.

AD2One has replaced a previous exclusive agency for MyZoo and, according to Phil Duffield, managing director of AD2ONE Australia the company's transparent approach that secured the deal. "We ensure our publishing partners have full visibility of sales activity, with accurate, real-time reporting. Then we work with them to build premium opportunities for advertisers that enhances the performance for all concerned."

According to AD2ONE, MyZoo enables advertisers to reach viewers with "a range of geo-demographic characteristics." Crispin Tristram, general manager of sales & service at Optus Digital Media, said: "AD2ONE's sophisticated analytics and targeted placement builds on our rich content offering. Users will see products they like and advertisers reach people who are interested."
