A billion-dollar Australian company has selected ComOps SAM salesforce automation software.
Bradken, an Australian company that designs and manufacturers products for a diverse range of industries including mining, transport and power generation, has decided to adopt ComOps SAM mobile salesforce automation software in place of Salesforce.com.
SAM will replace a mix of Salesforce.com, Access databases and Excel spreadsheets, and allow all users to access the same data regardless of location. The software includes process automation, data synchronisation, and analytics.
"Our business needs an effective CRM in place for clarity of customer contact. ComOps will take us from a world in which we managed our complex customer base with a mix of customer contact systems to one where we'll be able to benefit from fast access to clean, consistent data," said Michelle Fragar, Bradken's corporate marketing manager.
"We'll be able to integrate customer feedback, quotes and market share information into our systems from the field while automating the contract review system and providing relevant information is at the fingertips of our sales team. Quotes for customers will be generated faster and we'll ultimately have a sales team in place using a system which will provide an improved customer experience," she added.
SAM was selected following an 18 month evaluation of six products.
Deployment will begin in June in Bradken's mining division, and the software will be in use across the whole company by the end of the year.
