Vodafone Hutchison Australia  has awarded ASG Group a five year contract  for the provision of corporate IT support services.

ASG (ASX: ASZ) has been providing IT services to Hutchison Telecommunications  since 2006 and according to ASG chief officer sales and strategic operations, Murray Rosa, 'This contract represents a significant broadening of our relationship with VHA in terms of revenue generation and services."

The contract, the value of which was not specified, comes with options for two one year extensions and, according to ASG, there is scope for it to provide additional project services.

According to Rosa, "This contract win was secured against strong competition highlighting the newly merged VHA's satisfaction with ASG's existing service offering and our ability to provide flexible solutions to meet the increased and evolving needs of VHA."
