Bialik buys Meru for Wi-Fi

A Melbourne school has selected WLAN hardware from Meru Networks.


Bialik College has installed Meru Networks 802.11n equipment to provide wireless internet access for its 1000+ students at its Hawthorn campus.

"Thanks to Meru's unique single-channel approach and ability to support high densities of wireless users with no channel interference, students, teachers and staff at Bialik College are now connected online, wire-free," said head of technology David Micallef.

Ilan Rubin, director of supplier Wavelink Communications, said, "Bialik College needed a WLAN solution that was simple to implement and manage throughout the campus, without affecting classes."
