New Zealand company base 2 ICT Managed Services has adopted Kaseya as its managed services platform.

base 2 ICT Managed Services provides managed services to more than 50 clients in Australia and New Zealand. To support a shift from remote monitoring and support to a broader range of services, the company selected Kaseya Master IT Service Edition as its platform.

"In addition to remote monitoring and control, our engineers were looking for advanced scripting, patch management and automation features," said managing director Greg Sharp.

"Our engineers gave Kaseya their thumbs up, so it was an easy choice," he added.

Deployment took less than 48 hours, and allowed base 2 to offer remote support, patch management, policy enforcement, and ticketing.

"[W]e don't need to do the same thing twice, it's all fully automated," said Sharp, adding "We are already seeing great dividends for our clients, such as reduced downtime, cost saving, and improved response times."
