Electrolux picks HCL to clean up IT service delivery

Home and professional appliance company Electrolux has chosen India-based HCL Technologies to standardise IT service delivery in the Asia Pacific region."We wanted to offer a standardised service to Electrolux operations in Asia Pacific without increasing costs," said Bertil Norberg, Electrolux Group CIO.
"In HCL we found a partner that understands standardisation of services and has an ability to support the business locally across the region," added Norberg.
Services will be delivered from HCL centres in India and Malaysia, with English, Vietnamese, Thai, Bahasa and other languages spoken by helpdesk staff.
On-site services will be provided with assistance from local partners.
