Empired scores major contract with WA Police

IT services company Empired will provide consulting services to the Western Australian Police for at least three years.

With an estimated value of $A5 million, the contract between Empired and WA Police will run for three years with the option of two one-year extensions.

The value of the contract will vary according to the exact requirements of WA Police.

Adelaide-based Empired will provide services covering strategic advice and planning, benefits realisation, and project/program delivery assurance.

"I am looking forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship with WA Police where we will strive to exceed our contracted obligations and ensure we continue to add value in all areas of our engagement," said Empired MD Russell Baskerville.

"The previous six months has seen a number of large multimillion dollar contracts secured and demonstrates Empired's ability to grow organically and win major contracts against larger international competitors," added Baskerville.

Western Australia is said to be the world's largest single police jurisdiction, covering 2.5 million square kilometres.
