Trading Post website to use Paymate for transactions

Online payment services provider Paymate has been selected by online classifieds site Trading PostR as the preferred provider of secure online payment services promoted by the website to its buyers and sellers.

Trading PostR, the publishing and internet classified business, of Sensis Pty Ltd, claims to have in excess of $1 billion worth of goods offered for sale at any one time and more than one million unique visitors per month. Paymate launched online payment services in association with eBay Australia & NZ in October 2001.

Dilip Rao, managing director of Paymate said: "Paymate has been a trusted payments broker for Australian websites, avoiding losses for both buyers and sellers since 2001. We have accumulated trading histories on a vast number of buyers and sellers and expertise in assessing fraud risk that we are now leveraging to provide a safe trading platform for the Trading PostR website."
