Other contract wins cited by Barkla include the Australian National Audit Office (ANAO) extending its 12-year outsourcing relationship with the company by an additional five years, and also appointing Unisys as its multisourcing services integrator.

Barkla also announced the successful transition of  IT support services for the Australian Department of Defence, following a contract win in February last year.
 
Unisys also secured two new state government contracts, one five-year deal with the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads  to provide facial image processing technology and services for the new state’s smartcard driver licence, and another with the NSW Police Force to implement and provide maintenance services, over three-years, for an end-to-end digital imagery management system.

Barkla also referred to other contracts including a five year renewal with the Board of Airline Representatives Australia (BARA) and its member international airlines operating to and from Australia, to continue to provide a baggage reconciliation system, and extension of its license agreement with Cathay Pacific in May for provision of its passenger service system and logistics management system solutions through to 2012.
