Gentrack, has announced its second contract win in two weeks following the deployment of its billing and CRM solution with a another utility company, this time in Victoria.
Gentrack said today it had deployed its Velocity
billing and CRM solution with Victorian-based water utility company
North East Water, following an
announcement two weeks ago that Western Australian power company, Horizon Power, had gone live with its system.
Eamonn Tobin, executive manager of information systems at North East
Water, said the utility had successfully completed an overhaul of its
IT systems including a key upgrade of the Gentrack billing, CRM and
credit management solution.
Gentrack CEO, James Docking, said today North East Water’s Velocity
project was one in a chain of recent successful Gentrack projects in
the water and energy industries and “further strengthens its position
as a leading specialist water solutions vendor in Australia.”
Docking said the company’s water billing and CRM solution had provided
the technology platform North East Water required to implement a
variety of complex water tariffs and innovative customer management
strategies, while also running automated system processes for effective
debt collection and asset tracking.
Tobin said North East Water had wanted a solution that would allow the
business to deliver on its current commitments to customers and “enable
us to engage them a totally professional manner, providing them with a
better experience each time they contact us.”
