ECM solutions vendor, Objective Corporation has been appointed to the Queensland Government’s Whole of Government arrangement to provide electronic document and records management systems (EDRMS) across the entire government.
Objective is one of three vendors appointed to the arrangement which will run for three years.
Objective CEO, Tony Walls, said today the company already had a long
track record of successfully delivering process and collaboration
management solutions to the public sector, and a range of customers
across Queensland local and state government were using Objective,
including Queensland Police, the Port of Brisbane Corporation,
Powerlink and the Townsville Port Authority.
Walls says the Whole of Government Arrangement allows agencies in Queensland to maximise
the benefit they obtain from their corporate applications and reduce
the cost associated with purchasing, implementing and maintaining them.
“Increasing demands are placed on government to respond to citizens
requests more efficiently. To meet these demands, government agencies
need solutions that support business processes and information
management across diverse and often distributed groups of people with
significant demands for accuracy and performance.”
Walls, CEO says Queensland is an important market for Objective, with
the company employing a dedicated experienced local team in its
Queensland office, including recently appointed local government
industry solutions manager, David Schultz.
“Our industry experience combined with our knowledge of local
Queensland issues provides our customers with solutions that enhance
information sharing across agencies, improve public sector
effectiveness and efficiently. reduce costs of business processing and
ultimately help government deliver better services to the community at
a lower cost.”
Walls said Objective was also featured on the Western Australia and South Australian government’s
preferred supplier panels for the provision of EDRMS and the company
was an approved supplier on the NSW Government Information Asset
Management (IAMS) panel.
