White said Extend had identified the long term business opportunity for what he called a “sophisticated player” in the WA SAP space, and the current economic crisis has not deterred the company from making its investment in WA.
"Several significant WA based companies like RCR Tomlinson have already decided to give Extend Technologies an opportunity to add value to their business."
Extend’s WA office has employed a SAP industry expert, Brandon Hogan and appointed Simon Adams as Western Region delivery manager and senior account manager. Adams has been the Perth SAP Manager for Extend for the past 11 years.
White said that Hogan and his local team of SAP consultants would have the ability to draw on the depth of expertise within the national company as required and he said Extend was conscious of the need to remain competitive and differentiated in “this well networked marketplace.”
According to Simon Adams, the company’s culture, industry knowledge and ability to drive more value from an investment in SAP would enable it to build a solid presence in Western Australia offering five key lines of business - SAP licensing and services, HCM, SAP/Microsoft integration, business intelligence (including business objects), and SAP support.
Think again. Most businesses only have PART of a DR plan - and this spells business disaster in the event of an IT disaster.
