Announcing the list of winners of its channel partner awards, Websense named Data#3 as the overall winner, with Sydney-based McEvoy Thomas winning the outstanding partner award, Commulynx the gold partner of the year and Secureware the silver partner of the year.
Websense said it evaluated award entries using a variety of criteria including technical and sales certifications, product competencies, year-over-year growth, achievements against measurable objectives in areas such as annual billings, percentage of new business earned, as well as partners' overall commitment to Websense.
Daniel Crnkovich, channel alliance manager, Australia and New Zealand for Websense, said Data#3 was outstanding in being able to effectively communicate the value of Websense web security to the acquired SurfControl installed customer base, providing national reach and support into every state and were very successful in being able to communicate the Websense essential information protection (EIP) message.
Crnkovich said this year's winners went above and beyond to demonstrate their commitment to Websense and grow their business in a challenging market.
