GOtalk Broadband sponsors V8 Supercar

IT Industry - Deals

Broadband and VoIP communications company, GOtalk Australia, has signed a sponsorship deal with the South Australian based V8 Supercar Team, Team Dynamik - just prior to the Indy V8 Gold Coast Supercar Challenge held on October 22 and 23.

The sponsorship will begin at the Indy V8 Supercar Challenge on the Gold Coast and continue for the remaining two races this year - Symmons Plains, Tasmania on November 11-13 and Phillip Island on November 25-27.

GOtalk says the sponsorship is part of its national campaign to raise consumer awareness of VoIP phones and the brand profile of GOtalk Broadband and GOtalk Broadband Voice, launched nationally through the Harvey Norman Computer store chain earlier this month.

"After Phillip Island we will evaluate our sponsorship - however it is our intention to continue our relationship into 2006," GOTalk CEO Steve Picton said. "In the meantime we will be using the GOtalk branded Team Dynamik V8 Supercar to make several public appearances in support of our recently launched GOtalk Broadband Voice off the shelf consumer service through Harvey Norman Computer Stores,"
