$30 million in new contracts for ASG, despite tough times

IT Industry - Deals

IT services provider ASG Group has secured new contracts with a total value of approximately $30 million.

ASG Managing Director Geoff Lewis announced that the contracts involved multi-year, multi-million dollar agreements with both new and existing customers and had been secured across each of the company's operating regions “reflecting continued strong demand for ASG services group wide. “

Geoff Lord said the agreements included a 3 year contract for provision of IT Managed Services support for Symbion Pharmacy Services , IT support for the National Museum of Australia and National Capital Authority, provision of IT services to IP Australia, project engagements with the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, Australian Government National Water Commission and Old Parliament House, and provision of IT services to Airservices Australia.

He said the latest contracts demonstrated ASG’s ability to secure new business in difficult economic conditions, with the company securing significant projects with a range of blue chip clients, despite the global financial crisis.

"While some of these new contracts represent extensions to existing contracts, the majority are with new customers, confirming our continued ability to win new business. ASG has a very good reputation in both corporate and government sectors and our ability to reference existing clients when bidding for new business is providing us with added strength in this market."
