Cloud alliance sides with Optus on copyright

OzHub, the Macquarie Telecom-led cloud computing alliance, has come down firmly on the side of Optus over the copyright controversy surrounding Optus TV Now, warning that any moves to change the law "risk branding Australia a global luddite state."

Telstra delays new strategy unveiling

Telstra has delayed the date at which it expects to announce the results of a three month long strategic review from late October to mid November.

No reason was given for the delay, but it is widely believed that product bundling will be a core of the new strategy and that Telstra is still trying to assess what requirement to offer these bundles to wholesalers might be imposed by new regulations.
