O4 wins deal to mobilise Mrs Crocket’s sales

IT Industry - Deals

Mobile wireless field sales solutions provider, O4 Corporation, has won a contract with Australian food group, Mrs Crocket’s, to provide a handheld field operations solution for its sales force.

Mrs Crocket’s manufactures and distributes an average of 5.5 million servings per week of fresh salads and vegetable side dishes to major supermarket chains including Woolworth’s, Coles and Bi-Lo, as well as fast food outlets such as KFC, Red Rooster and Oporto. The company currently uses a paper based call-card system and all the daily tasks of the field force are done manually, including the placement of customer orders via phone or facsimile.

“Fresh, ready to eat or heat supermarket foods is a booming trend in Australia – we expect 30 per cent growth in the segment over the next 12 months. Our busy field force was becoming increasingly frustrated by a paper-based system for sales calls. Having instant access to relevant information automates the data processing aspects as well as provides both the sales force and management with real time data on store performance. This is critical to the development and growth of the category we operate in,” said Peter Kemp, CEO, Mrs Crocket’s.

The O4 system, for use by all sales, account and area managers, will contain customer detail and history, journey plans, sales analysis, tasks, ordering, quality management, events, meetings, surveys, assets, leave forms, vehicle expenses and competitor activity. The O4 management suite will provide office based staff with territory management capabilities and reporting functionality.

“O4’s Mobile Solution is simple to use and is easily customisable. The solution ensures the currency of sales data in the field and that all requests from the field can be actioned by office-based staff on a daily basis,” said Ashley Bloch, managing director, O4 Corporation.

The O4 Solution will be integrated with Mrs Crocket’s existing JBA accounting and CRM system.
