Australian IT professionals want greater visual representation of data within their business intelligence (BI) deployments, according to a survey conducted by Sydney-based Altis Consulting, an Australian-owned consultancy offering specialist expertise in data warehousing, business intelligence and information management.
BroadSoft buys its Oz app developer, Carbon Twelve

The Carbon Twelve product portfolio includes an integrated toolbar for Microsoft Outlook and Internet Explorer that enables users to make and accept telephone calls and manage IP telephony settings and preferences from within these applications, as well as a carrier-class VoIP attendant console to manage receptionist capabilities. The acquisition provides BroadSoft with its second office in Australia, complementing the company's recently opened sales, business development, and support centre in Melbourne. Financial terms were not disclosed.
BroadWorks customers in Australia include Telstra, IP Systems, AAPT, iiNet and in New Zealand, TelstraClear.
