Scheduled for release in the first quarter of 2013, BlackBerry Enterprise Service 10 (BES 10) "will be the ultimate management solution for all BlackBerry platform devices, as well as iOS and Android devices," according to Jeff Holleran, RIM's senior director for enterprise product management.
It will provide a web-based console for managing devices running BlackBerry 10, BlackBerry 7 and earlier, iOS or Android, plus BlackBerry PlayBook tablets.

Over the course of 2013, these separate product names will be replaced by BES 10.
At least initially, BES 5+ will have to run on its own server, while the other components can run separately or on the same physical or virtual server.
An upgrade scheduled for May 2013 will combine BDS and UDS into one component, and will also allow the use of BES 10 and BES 5+ on the same physical server.
