A variety of Jabra headsets have been given the tick for interoperability with Avaya's enterprise collaboration products.

Jabra is one of Avaya's technology partners, and following testing by the Avaya Solution Interoperability and Test Lab, the headset manufacturer has announced that certain of its products have confirmed interoperability with particular pieces of Avaya software.

Specifically, Jabra UC Voice Series headsets with Avaya one-X Communicator and Avaya one-X® Agent; Jabra Pro 920 and Jabra PRO 9400 Series wireless headsets with Avaya ADVD; and Jabra Supreme UC Bluetooth headset with Avaya one-X Communicator, Avaya one-X Agent and Avaya 9641G & 9670 IP desk phones.

"Tight integration between headsets and communication systems can have a significant impact on the end user and contact centre agent experience," said Tim Gentry, Avaya's managing director for Australia and New Zealand.

"Jabra's headsets have been tested for compatibility through our DevConnect evaluation process, which enables organisations to deploy hands-free communication that saves time and increases mobility and productivity with confidence."

And Jabra Australia and New Zealand MD Fulvio Toniotti said "Building on Avaya's resources and Jabra's innovative product development, customers in offices, contact centres and on the road will have a broader portfolio of compliance-tested solutions designed to meet their individual needs and budget requirements.

"Jabra is dedicated to enhancing the user experience by developing unique audio devices that allow customers to appreciate the full collaborative value of unified communication; regardless of where they work or how they connect to the network."
