The gateway, designed for use by government customers, has achieved Full Certification to the Highly Protected level by the Defence Signals Directorate (DSD), Australia's national authority for information security.

"Cybertrust is currently the only commercial multi-agency gateway provider with Full Certification at Highly Protected certification level, drawing a clear distinction between Cybertrust and other managed security gateway providers to Australian Federal Government agencies," said Paul O'Rourke, Cybertrust senior vice president and general manager, Asia Pacific.

The gateway manages more than 200 firewalls, processes two million emails per day, and protects more than 80,000 end users. More than 19 billion suspicious events are detected each month.{moscomment}
