Get Juiced again; now arriving on Nintendo DS E-mail

THQ has announced details for follow-up to the popular PS2 based street racer.  Juiced 2:Hot Import Nights goes "off road" onto portable systems amongst others, this time round.

Released in 2005, Juiced was able to carve THQ quite a respectable slice of the already crowded pimp my ride, street racing genre.

Now comes Juiced 2: Hot Import Nights (HIN) grabbing its moniker from the organised street racing events in the USA.  Featuring the culture of street and track drift racing in real world locations.

Players can once again get their fix of vehicle customisation and racing under the street lamps.  Powersliding their way to victory on Xbox 360, PS3, PS2, PC, PSP and Nintendo DS platforms - Once again the Wii misses out on a prime franchise.

"THQ studio Juice Games is utilizing its vast racing pedigree and proprietary technology to deliver groundbreaking new game-play features in addition to working closely with Hot Import Nights to accurately capture the tuning and street racing culture," said Bob Aniello, senior vice president of worldwide marketing, THQ.  "We look forward to bringing this global franchise to next-generation systems for the first time."

Juiced 2: HIN will also feature a new experience in what THQ are calling "ultra realistic Driver DNA".  Driver DNA promises to track gamers personal driver traits in a profiling system that can be exchanged over the web.

Look for Juiced 2: HIN towards Q3 this year.
