Vodafone Australia added 109,000 net customers for the three months ending December 31, 2006 (excluding MVNO customers) and increased its service revenue by 10.5 percent compared to the same quarter last year.Featured Whitepaper

CEO Russell Hewitt, said that sales of the company's $49 'Maxi Cap' had been "outstanding" in the last three months of 2006, underpinning both prepaid and contract customer acquisition and retention. "From February 1, 2007, we'll encourage more customers to connect to Vodafone when we introduce our $29 Jumbo Cap, which will provide up to $130 worth of value," he promised.
