UK based Toffa International Limited, a developer of mobile synchronisation products, has launched a free on-line service, GooSync, which synchronises a users Google calendar to their mobile device.Featured Whitepaper

The service is due to go live today, 31 January at www.goosync.com and full details were not available at press time. However Toffa's free service offers only a limited range of options, For full synchronisation capability users must pay for an advanced account. GooSync has been running as a worldwide open beta with more than 15,000 users since October 2006. The service is based on Toffa's commercial synchronisation engine, SyncWiseLive, which supports industry open standards (SyncML). Therefore, according to Toffa, GooSync is compliant with all of the latest mobile phones and personal digital assistants (PDAs). A list of compatible devices is available. Toff was established in 1996 and offered the first dedicated solution for synchronising the Palm OS based devices to Novell GroupWise. In 2001 Toffa it offered for first SyncML open standard server solution for synchronising all SyncML enabled devices to Novell GroupWise, and claims to have been only the 3rd server in the world to comply with the SyncML open standard.{moscomment} |
