It claims that the new service will enable this customer base, via their existing web and WAP stores to deliver music videos simultaneously to online and mobile accounts. "This unique feature allows users to purchase and download music videos on their mobile phone, whilst receiving a full screen resolution copy of the music video delivered to their online account, where it can be downloaded to a PC or Media Centre," the company says. A new application , 24-7 MediaXpress, will automatically download and synchronise the music libraries between mobile phones and any PCs in accordance with the usage rights provided by the labels. In November, ReelTime in conjunction with Universal Pictures, launched a service to Australian broadband customers where movies can be downloaded, on the day of the movie is released to DVD, stored on a PC, on a portable device and burned to a DVD and owned. The system operates via a unique three-copy secure burn model. By logging onto www.reeltime.tv consumers can access two Windows Media files, downloadable to PC/laptop and a portable device (compatible with Windows Play4Sure technology) and a third digital file that allows the movie to be securely and legitimately burned to DVD, containing full DVD functionality. {moscomment} |
