The ACCC has received notification of two more disputes between telcos over the prices charged to terminate calls on mobile networks.
Optus is in dispute with both Telstra and with Vodafone over mobile termination prices. These disputes join numerous others lodged in the past year which between them include disputes with all mobile operators.
The ACCC received notification of the disputes in late December and its resolution of the Vodafone dispute at least should be expedited by the decision, announced today, of the Australian Competition Tribunal to support the ACCC's rejection of Vodafone's proposed mobile termination prices for its 2G network.
The ACCC's announcement of these latest disputes did not specify whether they related to 2G or 2G networks.{moscomment}
