EMI And Yahoo! have signed a pan-European agreement to offer free music videos via Yahoo! Music.

Supported by targeted advertising, the Yahoo! Music portal allows consumers to stream clips to their PC. EMI represents artists such as Janet Jackson, Norah Jones and Robbie Williams.

"As the digital music market grows, we must continue to look for new ways to offer consumers the opportunity to enjoy our artists' content," said Jean-Francois Cecillon, chairman and CEO of EMI Music Continental Europe.

"Thanks to services such as Yahoo! Music, video-on-demand is becoming a valuable new channel that enables us to connect fans with the music they love."

The service also enables music fans to create their own personalised "My Video" list, tracking recently played videos and listing videos that have been rated by the fan. They can also discover videos by new artists through expert recommendations.{moscomment}
