Microsoft has completed its development work on Microsoft Exchange Server 2007. The software company has announced that over 500,000 beta testers trialed the product, making it the most tested Exchange release ever.

According to Microsoft, hundreds of early-adopter customers, including Lion Nathan and Queensland University of Technology are already using the latest version of the product.

Microsoft claims Exchange Server 2007 will drive innovation in areas such as:

-          Unified Messaging

-          Mobility support

-          64-bit architecture

-          Anti-spam

Microsoft itself was one of the first companies to trial the beta version of Microsoft Exchange Server 2007. Today, the company says it is running 125,000 mailboxes on Exchange Server 2007, with more than 30,000 of those enabled for Unified Messaging and delivering more than 99.95% availability.{moscomment}
