Editure, an online education solution provider, has signed a major agreement covering 1220 Catholic schools across Australia to provide a single, unified technology learning platform.

The 3-year deal worth $6 million will see Editure’s ‘Mysuite’ platform, being used by nearly half-a-million students, and their teachers to access safe online learning environments, collaborate with one another, and discover innovative digital resources.

Greg Whitby, Chairman of Catholic Education Network (CEnet) who represents one of the four Catholic groups to sign the agreement, says this an important step towards meeting the needs of  21st Century learners.

“As educators we need to provide a relevant and rich learning experience for our students using the most effective learning tools available. Mysuite can help us greatly towards this goal.”

“Some Catholic schools are already utilising the Mysuite solution and this is an exciting opportunity for all Catholic systemic schools to benefit from a networked learning environment that encourages inter-school collaboration, sharing of resources, and a reduction in duplication.”

Editure’s Mysuite solution is based on open standards and technologies and not tied to proprietary software.
