Powerlan seeks funding for Clarity OSS/BSS business E-mail

Campbell that clarity was winning prestigious sales in Asia against global competition - typically companies of considerable greater size and resources and he said that revenues were growing by 100 percent per year.

"Clarity is one of only two suppliers in the world who provide pre-integrated solutions that meets the entire OSS need. Authoritative published opinion indicates this strategy is likely to prevail over telcos buying a multitude of 'best of breed' systems and integrating them at additional cost."

During rhe year he said "long term investments were made to establish a world-class Clarity sales team in Singapore, win new business in the Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia, open up sales offices in new markets and undertake significant product R&D in anticipation of market success."

Commenting on Powerlan's overall business, Campbell said a review of operations undertaken early in the year had confirmed that "there was significant potential, but only limited capital and limited human resources available within Powerlan." For the year to 30 June 2006. The company reported a loss of $550,000 on revenues of $22.5 million.{moscomment}
