Sydney, 21 November, 2006 – Mavim, a leading provider of business process management software for applications including compliance management and quality assurance, has announced a partnership with on-demand project management and collaboration software provider Projectplace Asia Pacific to provide enhanced management functionality for Australian and New Zealand businesses. The partnership with Projectplace Asia Pacific will allow Mavim customers to benefit from Projectplace’s collaboration, document management, planning, tracking, scheduling and reporting functionality, which can be delivered through an email notification system. Multiple project undertakings can be easily maintained using Mavim software to effectively track all policies and procedures relating to any given project. Deployed at the crucial junction between the IT department and organisational management, Mavim software enables project leaders to effectively capture, design, maintain, and communicate organisational processes, rules, and changes. Mavim can be used by a project manager to set up a quality control system, link all compliance, health and safety, and organisational requirements, and provide consistent communication of business procedures. Processes can then be easily updated and distributed to staff working on a specific project, while reporting capabilities will enable the project manager to receive updates on adoption of compliance procedures and outline any changes to an individual’s responsibility since they last logged on. “This partnership will provide Mavim customers the opportunity to experience the interoperability of our integrated information management solutions with Projectplace’s automated notification functionality,” said Florian Hoornaar, managing director of Mavim. “As a result, users will have access to all the right tools needed to provide clear and consistent reporting of business processes, and allow organisations to deliver projects on time and under budget.” “Projectplace minimises the need for involved human planning through a centralised interface tool designed to assign tasks to staff as required through ongoing feedback functionality. With only a web browser and Internet connection, staff can access information from anywhere relating to their direct involvement in the Mavim implementation project, and familiarise themselves with stage updates, documentation, or upcoming meetings,” said Claudio Lasschuijt, Managing Director of Projectplace Asia Pacific. Projectplace will offer a free 120-day subscription of its Project Workspace solution to customers who purchase Mavim software. To be eligible for the trial, customers are encouraged to implement the Mavim solution as a hosted project undertaking. |
