Samsung first with mobile WiMAX handset E-mail

Samsung has unveiled a PDA running Windows Mobile XP that incorporates CDMA cellphone with EV-DO and support for Wibro, the Korean version of the mobile WiMAX standard, IEEE 802.16e.

The devices, the SPH-P9000 was unveiled at Mobile WiMAX Summit 2006. It has a QWERTY keyboard, MP3 player, 1.3 megapixel camera,  five inch WVGA screen and 30Gbyte hard drive. It  measures 143 x 92 x 29.7 mm, weighs 560g and will be launched in Korea first half of 2007.{moscomment}
