Access Microsoft Exchange, from a VoIP phone E-mail

German VoIP phone manufacturer, snom, says its SIP based VoIP phones can be used with Microsoft’s Exchange Server 2007: users can listen to e-mails, journal entries, contact data, and calendar entries through the phone.

Snom claims that users can gain complete access to the Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 services and hear messages with the simple touch of a key on a snom phone. The phone uses speech recognition to communicate users' command to the Exchange server.  The integration was demonstrated VON Europe 2006 November 6th-8th at the ICC Berlin.{moscomment}
