Australian Financial Markets Association teams with Netcat for Web Content Management |

Sydney, October 23rd. The Australian Financial Markets Association (AFMA) selected Netcat ( www.netcat.biz ) to implement web content management for intranet and internet, enabling AFMA (www.afma.com.au) to significantly improve services to members. AFMA is the industry peak body that represents the wholesale banking and financial markets on regulatory and other issues, representing more than 120 financial institutions.
AFMA required a solution that would allow them to build and maintain their own websites and intranet, build and manage multiple mini-websites and to auto-convert large scale policy documents written in Word into web format. AFMA’s policy documents were maintained as MS Word manuals of up to 80 pages. AFMA has used Netcat’s transformation technologies to convert these documents into 800 page websites with thousands of dynamic links. Using Netcat WCM, AFMA now run and maintain the content for AFMA’s own sites as well as the content of several smaller financial institutions.
