AT&T has completed initial testing to ensure network interoperability and performance of the TelePresence Meeting solution and plans to incorporate TelePresence offerings into its network integration and managed video communications portfolio, pending successful completion of full trials. The service will be offered over AT&T's global IP-MPLS network. AT&T will also offers integration capabilities for design, deployment and service management.

Verizon Business says it will soon begin technology testing and customer trials of Cisco TelePresence over its private IP and ethernet network services. Private IP is an IP-MPLS service available in more than 115 countries with five IP classes of service to enable prioritisation of video.

Verizon Business will also test TelePresence Meeting over its QoS-enabled ethernet offerings to enable customers to cost-effectively run the TelePresence application over their networks

Earlier this year, Verizon Business sponsored a Frost & Sullivan study, "Meetings Around the World: The Impact of Collaboration on Business Performance," which determined that collaboration is a key driver of business performance. The study also found that professionals worldwide see their collaborative efforts as highly productive and believe that collaboration through communications technologies can provide a competitive advantage.
