Blackbay Mobility Solutions Gain SymbolPLUS Validation |

Blackbay are pleased to announce that their mobility solutions, Delivery Connect and Service Connect, have gained SymbolPLUS validation. Blackbay are the first Symbol ISV Partner to have their solutions validated at the European Solution Centre.
The SymbolPLUS Validation service is offered to members of the Symbol Partner Select program that entitles them to co-test their integrated solutions assuring customers of high quality and system interoperability. The Symbol Validation Team conducted a rigorous set of tests on Delivery Connect and Service Connect on the Symbol MC70 over a Vodafone WAN network. Tests included:
- Ensuring the solutions ability to install over ActiveSync.
- Ensuring the solutions ability to operate over GPRS.
- Ensuring that the solutions user interface and navigation work as designed.
- Ensuring that the Symbol device can be managed through Symbol’s MSP platform while the Blackbay solution is installed & running
