Australian Electoral Commission transforms Intranet with Netcat Web Content Management E-mail
Tuesday, 17 October 2006
Canberra . 16 October 2006. The Australian Electoral Commission (AEC) selected Netcat Web Content Management to manage over 5,000 corporate intranet pages and migrate these onto the Netcat content management platform. The Commission was facing significant challenges in managing the volume of documents generated in discharging its responsibilities . The AEC selected Netcat WCM – Intranet edition to manage all aspects of the intranet’s content during its publishing lifecycle, including the development, approval and delivery of material, as well as review and archiving of content.   Netcat's rapid deployment capability was critical. The Netcat team, in association with Alphawest, migrated all data, set up the new technical environment, established workflows and workgroups and trained personnel within 90 days of signing the contract, on time and under budget.
