Announcing the move today, Mitrais CEO David Magson said his Bali based group would build a back-office Content processing team for Oniqua to handle aspects of its inventory management, data cleansing and spare parts cataloguing services. He said that with the continuing global resources boom there is a growing demand for the outsourcing of content processing which is being further driven by the ongoing shortage of skilled staff in Australia. “Mitrais will provide the skilled manpower resources and deploy them in Bali at a greatly reduced staffing cost to Oniqua,” he said. Welcoming the new arrangements, Oniqua Executive Vice President of Solutions Delivery, Andy Hill said that the move to offshore these functions will enable Oniqua to move up the value chain by leveraging its core skills in enterprise analytics and content management while outsourcing the more routine processing to Mitrais in Bali.
