IT services provider Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) has extended its information technology (IT) services contract with Powercor-CitiPower, a subsidiary of the Cheung Kong group of companies. The new five-year contract has a total value of $17.8 million.Featured Whitepaper

Under the new contract, CSC will provide Powercor-CitiPower a range of IT-related services, including desktop, helpdesk, midrange, network, security and disaster recovery. "Re-signing the contract has been an easy decision for both the management and the Board at Powercor-CitiPower given the long, successful relationship with CSC over the last seven years,” said Glen McLean, General Manager IT Services, Powercor-CitiPower. “We look forward to CSC playing an important and strategic role in the future programs affecting the businesses, particularly the Victorian interval meter rollout program."
