Microsoft has acquired enterprise network management software firm DesktopStandard for an undisclosed sum. The software enables network administrators to implement rights and settings for groups of users across a network.
The software from DesktopStandard is more advanced that the native Microsoft network management tools.
Assimilation of the new company into the fold will be made easier by
the fact that DesktopStandard are already well integrated with the
Microsoft environment and existing network management tools.{moscomment}
