Vista has been a long time coming and, assuming that feedback to the latest build of release candidate 1 is all OK, what will happen when the new operating system hits the market is still far from clear. Since improved security has been a major foundation and key selling point of the Vista platform, Microsoft is expected to deliver rock solid security in spades. Yet somehow the public remains unconvinced.
