Objective Corporation (ASX: OCL) today announced it has been appointed to the newly established preferred supplier panel for Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) across Western Australian government.

The Common Use Arrangement (CUA) 8005 is a panel of three suppliers approved by the Western Australian government to provide EDMS to its government agencies. The contract will commence on the 29 September 2006. The other two suppliers are Alphawest and Tower Software.

The CUA has been established by the Western Australian government in response to the increasing amount of electronic information moderngovernment organisations need to manage and to assist agencies comply with local and international standards for document management, records management and related disciplines.
