According to Nick Mescher, Group Managing Director for Ajilon Australia, the merger will allow both companies to more easily accelerate their planned growth strategies nationally, than through organic expansion alone. “The merger establishes us as a market leading national player in the Business and ICT Services area with over 400 personnel.” Mr Mescher said. “Our rationale for the merger is all about future expansion by providing increased services and capability to our clients, and creating additional opportunities for our people.” “AeM Group clients have minimal overlap with our existing Ajilon Consulting clients. As a result, all senior management and personnel in both companies will play a key role in our future. Both companies will continue to operate in parallel with their existing brand names for the foreseeable future.” Ian McFarlane, currently head of AeM, will immediately become Managing Director of the combined consulting business and relocate to Sydney. His move recognises that much of the companies’ future growth is likely to come from clients with needs on the east coast. “We are very pleased to be joining our company with Ajilon Consulting” Mr McFarlane said. The companies have a strong cultural synergy, and have built their businesses and reputations on strong client delivery. Both are leading players in their markets with ambitions to grow.” “I am also excited by the prospect this merger provides to leverage the global reach of the Ajilon Group, giving us access to a range of additional strategic capabilities for our clients.” Bill Leropoulos, currently head of Ajilon Consulting, retains his current responsibilities based in Melbourne and continues as a key executive in the combined company.{moscomment} |
