Broadband users pass 3.5 million

The latest 'Broadband Snapshot' report from the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) shows that there were 3,518,100 broadband services in Australia at 30 June 2006, a 67percent increase in 12 months. ADSL services accounted for 2,549,900, HFC cable 594,500, satellite 23,000, other DSL 251,100 and other, predominantly wireless 99,100.
