Giant mobile handset rivals Nokia and Motorola are teaming up to push forward the development of mobile TV services.
As part of their common goal of getting mobile
TV off the ground as soon as possible, Nokia and Motorola have
committed to ensuring that their DVB-H (digital video broadcast
handheld) phones are interoperable.
Nokia and Motorola are standing firmly behind DVB-H because it is an
approved standard in Europe and ostensibly is of superior quality to
competing standards. Among other things, DVB-H enables users to watch
TV while making a phone call.{moscomment}
