According to New Zealand's Dominion Post newspaper, the New Zealand Government is contemplating allowing people to send unsolicited emails that are of an entirely non-commercial nature and they would not need not desist even if asked to do so by the recipient.
The report said that there were no proposals to legislated against spam SMS messages or pre recorded voice calls, despite a request from the Green Party last year that they be included.
