Unwired has added four new base stations to its Melbourne wireless broadband network, extending coverage to Kew, Balwyn, Hawthorn, Brunswick, and parts of North East and North Melbourne. Unwired says that, from today, the additional base stations will provide coverage in "all or part of": Kew, Kew East, Balwyn, Brunswick, Hawthorn (North and East), Essendon, Essendon North, Strathmore, McLeod, Yallambie, Alphington, Fairfield, Ivanhoe, Eaglemont, Heidelberg, Rosanna, Viewbank, Lower Plenty, Bulleen, Camberwell (North, South, West and Middle), Canterbury, Armadale, Caulfield North, Coburg and more of Toorak, Balaclava and St Kilda. Future plans are to extend coverage eastwards. A map showing current and planned Melbourne coverage is available on the here on Unwired web site. |
