wireLess than 24 hours after gadget sites prematurely unveiled pictures of its prototype, Apple has lifted the covers off its new wireless Mighty Mouse.
The new mouse, which sells for US$69, has been Bluetooth 2.0 enabled and, other than the fact that its wireless, it works the same way with same features as the wired version with four programmable buttons and a multi-directional scroll wheel.

The mouse is powered by one or two AA batteries and Apple boasts of some advanced features to conserve power.

Firstly, it powers down to a lower mode when it isn't being used. Secondly - and one wonders why this isn't a feature of all wireless mouse devices - it has an off switch.

An off switch on a wireless mouse - it's good to see that Apple hasn't lost its touch. {moscomment}
